Hair Treatment
Provillus has been boon for many men and women who suffer from hair loss. Yes I said women too! The company has two products, one specifically designed for men and one product for women. Both products are geared to stop hair loss and also regrow hair back. Provillus works to give both men and women the nutritional needs we need for a healthy head of hair.
Female Pattern Baldness:
There is no set pattern for female hair loss. Some women don’t start to lose their hair until later on in life, others find their hair thinning while they are relatively young. There are many reasons for women to lose their hair but the most common is hereditary thinning or alopecia it accounts for 95% of female hair loss.
Female Pattern Baldness (FPB) affects 1 out of every 4 women in the United States. Recent findings have found that the incidence of FPB has been reported to be as low as 8% and as high as 87%. And, it does appear to be as common for women as for men. Most often, menopause is the most frequent time for female hair loss to become apparent.
Provillus for Women aggressively seeds your scalp to create the optimum environment for new, healthy hairs. It supplies the proper nutrition to bring dead hair follicles back to life or prevent hair loss from occurring!
For women hair loss can be even more troubling than for men. Female hair loss is not generally accepted as part of the normal aging process. Society has come to expect a thick, luxurious head of hair as part of the attractiveness in women.
Male Pattern Baldness:
Hair loss and thinning hair have been sensitive issues for men throughout time. Recently, medical science has finally identified the main cause of hair loss. Now, it is a known medical fact that hair loss stems from both genetic and hormonal causes. Androgenetic Alopecia or “male pattern hair loss” is implicated in 95% of hair loss cases. The key is a hormonal byproduct called DHT (dihydrotestostrone). The more DHT that gets put into your body, the more your hair follicles become thinner and finer until the hair is permanently lost.
Provillus blocks DHT (dihydrotestostrone) from getting to your body, which is one of the major causes of hair loss. The Breakthrough formula of Provillus was designed to block DHT and supply the proper nutrients to your body specifically tailored to prevent hair loss and to help you regrow hair naturally. Strong, healthy hair begins with the proper nutritional building blocks. You don’t have to wait until there’s a problem to prevent it! Provillus supplements your body’s natural supply of these nutrients and lets the tiny follicles beneath your scalp receive exactly what they need to create beautiful, full-bodied hair.

Jessica Simpson Hair
I have real Hair Extensions but they are the BIGGEST pain. They’re hard to sleep with, always have to get them tightened, etc. Obviously they look nice but it’s just not worth it. So while my hair grows out when I take them out, I was wondering how the Jessica Simpson line looks? I’ve seen a couple people with them and it looks pretty nice to me.
My hair’s about an inch below my shoulder.
everyone i know who has bought them said they sucked cos they were too heavy with only a few clips to hold it on place

How to Hair Extensions
My hair is naturally dark brown but i coloured it using xxl dye which is a purple colour (designed especially for dark hair) should i buy dark brown hair extensions an put the same dye on them? They are human hair extensions so can be dyed.
Best to go to a quality Hair Extensions salon in your area, so they can look at you, and go over the best hair colors that match your hair type, texture, and your goals.

Clip on Hair Extensions
I got the clip in extensions that are 14" and my hair is just at my shoulders. Obviously, when I put them in, my hair shows through, especially because it’s thicker and more frizzy. Will a hair stylist be able to blend it in with layers without taking too much off of the extensions? Also, will I still be able to wear my hair short if they have to trim some of my hair?
curl it

Hair Extensions
I’m thinking of getting some hair extensions put in make it look like i have lots more hair, and to lengthen it, of course. So is there a difference between getting a weave and getting Hair Extensions? Should I be asking my hairdresser for a weave instead of hair extensions, or are they the same thing?
Thanks.
Weave Is Strands Of Hair Sewn On A Peace Of Material. That Then Either Gets Glued, Or Sewn Into Your Own Hair.
Extensions Are Platted Into Your Hair, It Makes it Look Like You Have More Hair As Weave Can Go Flat.
It Depends On What You Buy, Although You Would have To Take Out Your Weave And Wash It Ect.

Hair Treatment
I have severely damaged, dry, fine hair that is almost halfway grown out (I used to dye it alot and blow dry every day). I got a trim today and my stylist recommended that I come in for a "Chemistry shot" treatment. I’m thinking about doing this because I’m pretty desperate now, but I’m wondering if anyone has had it done to their hair before and whether it helped or not. (btw, I think it’s made by Redken). Thanks!
Yeah it gives your back alot of moisture. Works well.

A Cut Above: You Could Become a Stylist to the Stars
Making it to the red carpet is one of the ultimate goals of celebrities in Hollywood and in the music industry. What they wear and how they wear it as they walk down the ultimate fashion gauntlet will grace the covers of People, E, and In Touch plus eliciting commentary from everyone from Joan Rivers to Ryan Seacrest. But who is behind these looks? Where did they start? How did they start? How can you become one of these style-makers?
Cosmetology is more than donning a smock and handling a pair of shears. If you’re looking into a career in cosmetology, the best path to success involves keeping up with changing fashions, training at an accredited beauty school, getting your cosmetology license, learning and mastering the business development skills required to grow and maintain your client base. And, of equal importance, you need to make a commitment to lifelong learning by taking advanced, continuing education courses.
Defining Hair Fashions
Keeping up with the current fashions not only helps a stylist keep up their own personal appearance (it’s important that you, as a stylist, make a good impression on your clients), it also helps to identify current styles to make the best choices for clients. Understanding art and technical design is not just for painters and architects.
Training and Hair Stylist Education
All states require cosmetologists and other personal appearance workers to be licensed, with the exceptions of shampooers and makeup artists. After graduating from a state- approved training program, students are required to take a written test and sometimes a practical or oral test of technical styling skills. Most states also require personal appearance workers, like hair stylists, to be at least 16 years old with a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
State-approved training programs can be found in private, post secondary career schools like Salon Success Academies.
Maintaining a Client Base
Career success is also determined by a stylist’s interpersonal skills and attitude. These ‘soft skills’ are so important to maintaining and building your client base that beauty schools require coursework in this area.
By developing these skills and with a little determination, there are many directions you can take with a career as a stylist to the stars. Some work with individual stars, like Ken Paves, who helps celebs like Jessica Simpson and Jennifer Lopez define and re-define their look. Others might choose to work in the fashion or film industry like Kim Kimble, whose career working with A-listers like Beyonce Knowles, Mary J. Blige, and Michelle Williams began by working in the film and TV industries where she started to meet celebrities who became regular clients.
Or, you could take on celeb status yourself, like hair stylist Nick Arrojo. After working in Vidal Sasson salons among others, Arrojo started his own salon, Arrojo Studio. He continues his growth as a style maker by working on his own product line and how-to books. His work can also be seen on The Learning Channel’s (TLC) What Not to Wear.
Once you get the training, it’s up to you where you take it.
To take your first step on the pathway to a new and exciting beauty career, complete the contact form, or call 1-877-987-HAIR (4247).
